June 12–14, 2026 – At the 8th IEEE International Conference on DC Microgrids (ICDCM) 2026 held in Xi’an, China, SIFANG delivered a technical presentation titled “Discussions on Key Technologies of AIDC HVDC Power System”.
The presentation focused on the pivotal role of solid-state transformer (SST) technologies in high-voltage DC (HVDC) power supply systems for AI data centers. SIFANG shared its accumulated expertise in silicon carbide (SiC) power conversion, high-frequency transformers, system integration, control and protection, as well as hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation validation. These technologies are designed to drive AI data center power systems toward greater efficiency, compactness, reliability, and source-grid-load-storage coordination.
